Floor Planner Dot Com
Maybe this is only loosely related to downtown living, but I’ll pass it along anyway. I guess this tool will probably have the biggest benefit to those like me who decide that square footage is less important than location within a walkable community.
Anyway, I just spent the last 3 hours of my life measuring my place and inputting the info into this slick little program, and I’m still really impressed. After you get the dimensions entered in, you can customize your place’s flooring, furniture, doors, windows and even accessories like flatscreen TVs, iMacs, lamps, and rugs. I enjoyed it…thought y’all would too.
